sending an 800 and a 580 to UPENN... PLEASE HELP lol.

For some reason, I thought it'd be a good idea to nap during the Lit SAT II this past test, as I knew it was hard and was just gonna neglect the score when it came down to score choice. However, I just remembered at literally the last 10-20 mins that UPenn / Cornell wants to see my entire SAT history. So, when I got my scores back, 580 was more of a blessing-- I anticipated like a 300-400... However, on the bright side, I got a 800 on Math 2.

If I hope to major in Business, will that low Lit SAT II score really play a big role against me? If I redeem myself in Dec with a strong USH Sat II score (750-800) and send that to be one of my higher scores alongside the Math 2, do you guys (from speculation or experience) think that'll be okay?

Thanks

thx

I honestly don’t feel like it’ll harm you that much (depending on your other stats)

Why did you take SAT Lit if you were going to neglect it ?

They typically look at your two highest scores(refer to the academic index calculator in the free resources section of the site), so if you do well in USH then you’ll be much better off.

Why in the world would you do that though? No offense, but it’s just plain dumb. If you’re already in the middle of the test, you should of just gave it your best effort. I’d say retake it again and get the best score you can so it doesn’t bring you down?
