Sending AP Scores to U of M

For some reason UM didn't get my AP scores, should I send them in anyways (Bio 4, Psych 4)? And will this affect when my application is "complete" and the order in which my application will be looked at?

You do NOT need to submit any AP scores. You send an official transcript if you decide to attend. Your app will be considered complete when all the things like recs, transcripts, app is submitted.

Oh, so my AP scores aren't considered in the admissions process? O.o. And my brother (twin rather), apparently has his AP scores "recieved" according to Wolverine Access.

They apparently keep tabs on whether it's received for the applicant's sake, but the scores are not required for admissions.

AP scores might be considered in the admissions process, you can look up stuff on umich.edu if you want, but you don't need to send them the scores, you can just write them down in the specific area. If you get accepted, you will want to send them in if you want to get credit for some of them.

Couldn't find anything on whether AP scores are "considered" :(

AP scores are not officially considered, but the AdCom will look at them and it is unreasonable to think that they ill not influence the decision. Let us face it, an applicant with six 5s on the APs is going to impress the AdCom. In the case of the OP, two 4s are certainly good and probably worth sending in, but they will not put you at either an advantage or disavantage.

Regardless, you can send in your AP scores for free when you've been accepted and decided to enroll by doing it through taking your AP exams senior year.

reach bump

AP scores not required. they only use them to see if you take a rigorous schedule, and it'll be on your transcript
