Sending both ACT and SAT scores -- will schools consider both?

<p>My ACT score is higher than my SAT score. I'm sending both ACT and SAT to all my schools. Will they consider both, or the SAT over the ACT? (I'm mainly applying east coast schools.)</p>

<p>Most schools simply convert your ACT score into an SAT score and take the highest. I also have a higher ACT score than SAT and am sending both.</p>
