I wasn't happy with my SAT scores, so I went ahead and took the ACT in December. I had already sent my SAT scores to all colleges I was applying to, and I also ordered my ACT scores to be sent to all colleges (by requesting that they be sent during registration, so that they would be sent immediately when they were available.) I figured that I wouldn't be able to have the scores arrive on time if I waited for ACT scores to be released, and then chose which score to send.

Turns out, I did WAY better on the ACT (33 on the ACT, had a 2050 SAT/1330 CR+M). So, do colleges look at the better of the two tests if you send both test scores, and ignore the other score when considering you for admission?
