"Sending Both"

So some places like the ACT... others like the SAT. Some students take one and not the other... some students take both.

So which one do you send? The conversion charts are out there, but do they really mean what they say and say what they mean?

My ACT is a 35
My SAT is a 2250, approx. 100 points less than the SAT conversion.

My SAT II's are 800 (Math II), 760 (US Hist), 730 (Biology M)

I decided to send them all, this way Penn could see my SAT II's which were pretty good... and my SAT was above average, but not on line with my ACT.

So the question is... would it have been better to NOT send the SAT, and just send the ACT? And if you don't send the SAT can you still send your SAT II's? Should I have done that?

It would have been better to have sent the ACT. You can't send SAT 2 scores without send the SAT 1 scores too. However, I've been told that they won't look down at your lower score, so you should be fine. Plus, it's too late to change things now, but at least you can strategize for your regular decision apps...which you obviously will not be needing to send out! :)
