Hello,
Have any of you send a CD to Tufts? The website clearly says that they welcome CDs.
My daughter has one that she wishes to send in.

The question, though, is how does she identify herself? She has a common name, and think that would be enough.
Most schools have communicated a unique ID number in the application acknowledgement. Tufts uses some other mechanism.
So, we don't know what to put on the envelope or cover note so that it doesn't get misplaced.

Thanks for your help,

Write the name and common app ID on the CD. Also, why use CDs? The internet is so much easier.

DanAdmission@Tufts: Thank you for the response. This helps.
I assume she thought CD because this is a properly produced one, with artwork, coprights credits and all.
Her resume, attached to the common app, has a link to one of the band’s live performances.
Thank you again!

If that’s the case, then we don’t need the CD. Yay for money saved on postage!

Hey DanAdmiss@Tufts,
I would also be interested in somehow getting music/theater/other art materials to Tufts for possible consideration, but I’ve noticed that the school doesn’t accept the Common App Arts Supplement. Is it encouraged to just put it on the internet and put the link in additional information of the common app, or attach an arts resume? If so, is there a site you recommend? I was thinking Soundcloud for music, but I’m unsure about theater. I’m just trying to figure out the best way to go about it.

Thanks!
