I just submitted my early app to Harvard, and I'd previously thought that my school academic awards were too insignificant to include. Now, I'm kicking myself. Should I send them an email with the addition or is it annoying/will they think I'm thoughtless? For background, my school gives 1 award for each class, and I've accumulated 13 over the past three years.

You can always send an email update, but use good judgement. Update Admissions for state or national awards. If you won a local award, it’s probably not important enough to warrant an update. Remember: other students will be updating with Intel Semi-Finalist like awards, and you don’t want your award to seem insignificant by comparison.
