I think you can do it, but its better you don't do it. choose one and go with it. You still have a week to decide

tenchi are you on e46fanatics.com? o_O i've seen your screen name tons of times on there if that's you

Umm...no it's not okay. You can only send in one. Unless the other is to say you are rejecting the school's offer.

no you cant.. there is another topic below, please read it.. called SIR(s)

U can send them, but at big risk of losing both places as ur not supposed to send 2 SIR(s)

If you can't decide between schools because you honestly don't see a real difference, then put their names in a hat and pick one. Why prolong your agony --- what exactly do you think is going to happen in the next two months to make you finally able to make the decision?

Keep in mind that if you do double deposit, and either school finds out about it, then it is likely that both schools will rescind their offer of admission. And, honestly, it is unfair to the people waiting on wait lists to do this as well.

I'm gonna ask my counsler about this because my situation is that I'm waiting for UCLA's answer, but all my transcripts and SIR is due for another college on May 1st and I mean it would be so unfair if I didn't get into UCLA and i'm pretty much screwed if I didn't have my transcripts into the other college by May 1st (which i'm pretty sure they wouldn't reach, and no it's not postmarked date, they are due on May 1st)

call them. if they arent going to be cool about it then i'd question the school your going to.

'm gonna ask my counsler about this because my situation is that I'm waiting for UCLA's answer

i seriously wouldn't bet on it. very very few people get in by appealing.

Huh? I think you misunderstand. I got into SDSU, but they have a due date of May 1st for SIR AND Transcripts (official) and UCLAs answers are starting to come in at the end of the week (this is for transfer) So, i'm gonna ask if its ok if I send in the SIR for SDSU because if I don't send it into SDSU and I get rejected from UCLA, i'm screwed..

OKAY, if you're waiting for an APPEAL then it's okay to send an SIR to another school, and then later rescind that SIR if your appeal goes through. But if you just have two schools now that both accepted you, you can't send in both.

As for transfers.....I don't know but it would make sense that what I said above applies.
