I took the december SAT and ACT tests but I'm waiting for december 30 when I get my ACT scores back to decide whether i should send my SAT or ACT to colleges, including UVA and William & Mary, which have January 1st deadlines! Ill have all the info filled out about the SAT/ACT scores i choose to send on common app but they probably wont get the actual scores until a couple weeks after. Will this decrease my chances of getting in? because on the william and mary website it says that scores must be received by the deadline...
also I want to take the january 25th subject tests for UVA, is that ok? it says on the website they will accept january subject tests but it is recommended to take them by december. will taking the january subject test and sending them to UVA in february decrease my chances?

Wiiliam & Mary wants all testing to be completed by the Dec test dates but it does not require the tests to be in its hands by Jan 1 and they can arrive in Jan after the applicaiton deadline, see “Regular Decision” on this page https://www.wm.edu/admission/undergraduateadmission/datesdeadlines/index.php Semnding scores that arrive after Jan 1 does not create any disadvantage in admission. Likewise for UVA which does accept the Jan SAT subject tests.
