I'm taking Octobert 9th SAT and want to report it AFTER I get the score, which will be around October 28th. This means MIT will get my SAT score around mid November or later. Will this be ok for EA?

It’d probably be ok. But you should send it in at the time you take it because MIT only considers your best score. So if you don’t do well and send it in, it won’t hurt you.

yes it will

^Yes it will hurt him if his scores are bad? Btw Chris, is your last name Peterson? I saw you at a info session, I think.

I believe the ‘yes it will’ was in response to:

Yes, it will be okay for EA.

No, the scores will not be used if they’re lower than previous scores.

Editorially, if it were me, I’d just designate MIT as a score recipient without having seen the scores. But perhaps I have less faith in the ability of ETS to report scores within a reasonable timeframe than most people do.

Thanks, everyone. I have a decent ACT score and I will wait for my SAT I result. It is actually my first time. :)

thanks for the clarification everyone
