Sending out applications question

I’ve seen on here that many of you have already sent out your ED applications, and I got kind of nervous because I don’t think I’ll have everything ready until around the week before the deadline.

Just to make sure…

It doesn’t matter when you send the application as long as it’s before November 15th, right?

Thanks, and good luck to everyone!

Absolutely. Don't worry about getting it done earlier...just be sure you get all of your materials there on time...if you are waiting that late, I would personally send them FedEx or something so you know for sure it gets there...

It's all OK, as long as the Admissions Office receives the application BY Nov 15. I know that I sent in my online common app on Nov 15, and I don't think it was processed until Nov 16, and it still went well.

On the Barnard website it says as long as it is postmarked by November 15th. I should be getting my last rec letter tomorrow (hopefully), Wednesday, and then I'll be sending all of the paper materials off. Should I send it in express mail despite what it says on the website, or am I able to send it in as regular mail? The 15th is this Saturday!

I called Barnard to ask about recs and they said they just have to be postmarked by the 15th (they actually said it's okay if they are a few days later because you can't control that). Just be sure everything you can control is sent in by Saturday.

I know I felt uneasy about sending things in regular mail....so I think we sent them express or UPS so that I knew they got there safely.
