Does anyone know when/how Barnard notifies ED applicants? Do they only send letters or emails, too? Do they mail the letters on the 15th or do we get them on the 15th? Little questions, but the stress is killing me!

I am pretty sure they do not send e-mails like CC does (at least they have not before). Not sure of the date for ED, but RD decisions come by express mail (acceptances) or regular mail (the dreaded small letter which may come a couple of days or so later).

You could check the CC archives to determine when people found out last year....

Hello!

Barnard does not send out emails, but if you are accepted ED you should (if all goes well with the post office) get an acceptance on the 15th of December by priority mail. If you are deferred to regular admissions or are not accepted than you get a smaller envelope later in the week.

Also, if you're accepted ED you'll get your tentative financial aid package a few days later.

Good luck!

thanks so much!

stephanie...if you are out of state, do you still think you will receive notification on the 15th?

If you are in, because they use priority mail, it gets everywhere within 2 days. Think positive. :)

Saying prayers and sending best wishes to all of you ed-ers!

I was out of state, although close (PA) and I got it on the 15th. Think happy thoughts :)
