Yale and Stanford require me to submit ALL SAT scores, however, I have read that that does not apply for Subject Tests. If I select 2 subject tests, the collegeboard page says “you have selected to send SOME scores.”
Is this going to affect me in any way? What should I do?
Stanford requires all SATs and all ACTs; Yale requires either all SAT’s or all ACT’s; both recommend but do not require subject tests and you can send whatever subject tests you want to send. The College Board warning can be ignored for subject tests. Also be aware that the College Board in giving the warning about all scores is actually wrong most of the time, includng because it includes in its “all scores” list of schools a large number of schools that never even had an all scores rule of any kind.
The problem is when I click to send all SAT I scores, but select the subject test ones, it displays a message that says “SOME scores will be sent”, so I am afraid that colleges receive that message and think that I did not submit all of the SAT I scores.
