Sending SAT scores

I chose Penn as one of my recipients for the Oct. 8th test, so is it guaranteed that they will get my scores? I am taking the SAT II tomorrow (and I notified Penn this by putting it down on the application section), and I will be rushing these scores to them anyway. Should I just make certain that these rushed scores arrived to them?

The rushed scores from the Nov. test should include all past SATs and SAT IIs. You can call and confirm that they got there, or they will let you know if there is some problem.

AHHH when i ask i get no responses... so i'm gonna hijack this thread* [related]...

how about if you specified them as one of the schools prior to applying?

cujoe - didn't mean to exclude you!! If you sent them the scores in the past, they should have them on file. I'd call admissions to make sure, but I'm pretty sure that's the case.

O okay.. I was afraid that CB didn't send my Oct. scores to Penn (because I was checking out My Organizer and it said that (0) scores have been sent? Anyway, since I'm rushing my Nov. scores anyway, it shouldn't be a problem whether they received my Oct. scores or not, right?

That's right. Also, there is a glitch on the college board website. My mom called and they told her that lots of people have been confused by the lack of history of sent scores online - it is doing that for everyone. Call collegeboard to be sure the scores were sent - they will even tell you the date they were received. I just did that this week.

and the fact that even if penn doesn't receive your scores, they will mail you and tell you, and I called them today, and they said that as long as you mail it to them after the notice, it won't affect your chances of getting in.

I know this is going to sound stupid... but how do you rush scores? I'm doing stand-by for an SAT II tomorrow and I need the scores rushed, but I don't know how to do it since I'm not registering online.

astrid_asteroid, if you have a CB account, then you can do it online when you receive your scores. Just go to "My Organizer" and "send scores". You'll see the option for sending scores ASAP (I don't think they call it 'rushing' scores per se though, but correct me if I'm wrong).

i think u can order "rush score reports"

why do i end all these threads? hmm...
