if and when I choose to use the 4 free score reports from collegeboard, are all my test scores sent to colleges or just the one i took on that day?

I just took Literature on the 4th and have taken the SAT twice before, so now if I choose to use the 4 free score reports will all 3 scores be sent or just Literature?

If you choose four free college sends (I believe you have until Monday to do so), your literature score will be sent and all the prior SATs will also be sent unless you exercise score choice by unchecking those scores in the order so they will not be sent.

alright, thank you!

I’m taking math 2 in june, so wouldn’t it just be smarter to wait until after that to send my scores? otherwise i’d have to pay separately to send the math scores to colleges as well

This is also my question and I got different answers. Are you sure the 4 free score for SAT2 will include all previous SAT1 scores? That is interesting since it is cheaper to take one SAT2 test than submitting SAT1 scores to 4 schools.

I was told by other posters that SAT II scores are grouped separately than SAT I scores.
For example when you send your SAT II scores all previous SAT II scores will show up but not SAT I scores.

But as I said, I “was told”. I do not know for sure.

Then other posters are wrong. Whenever you order any score sent by College Board, whether SAT or a subject test, it automatically sends all scores it has for you, both SAT and subject tests, unless you exercise score choice to prevent one or more of the prior tests from being sent. That applies to your four free sends and also if you wait to order scores sent for a fee after a test score comes out. That has been the practice of the College Board since score choice was adopted, and before score choice was adopted the practice was to send all scores, both SAT and subject tests, and you had no ability to prevent any score from being sent.

As to whether to wait until the next test you take to designate your four free sends, you can do that and send all scores to a college as one of your free sends for that subsequent test.

When I registered SAT2 for my daughter, there is an option to include SAT1 scores. I did not check that as I think there will be additional charge. I’ve asked another student who just finished the application process this year, she also told me the SAT1 score will not be included with the subject test free score submission. Again, taking one subject test is $35. Send scores to 4 schools are more expensive. I am still confused.

Okay. I just went back and check the send scores order. It does include previous SAT1 with the SAT2 free score report.

Thanks for clearing this up!

thank you everyone!
