Sending scores early..

I'm a junior and I just took the SAT in January. Since you automatically get 4 free score reports, is there a point to send them anywhere now? What if I want to most likely retake the SAT later, should I be sending these scores anywhere? Would it hurt me to send them somewhere I really would like to apply now, in case they are, let's say not as good as I want them to be? Or does my sending actually illustrate my interest for the college, as the collegeboard states?

Thank you for your replies!

Sorry if this is in the wrong category! I’m sort of new here =)

…bump…

My sense is that it’s best for you to wait. The savings are small. There is absolutely no benefit to you to have colleges (to which you have not yet applied?) receive the scores.

Thank you so much! That’s what I thought

Ds sent them to safety schools because he knew they would be good enough for a safety. And, hey, $38 is $38. Also, some schools don’t allow score choice so you’d end up sending them anyway.
