Sending scores!??? Help.

I took the SAT once and wasn't ecstatic with my score so I took it again this October. I will find out my scores in about a week. (Oct 20) I also took subject tests in June and I am satisfied with those scores.
My question is how/when do you send scores?
I am applying to two colleges early which have a deadline of November 1st. Both colleges allow score choice and I might want to hide my first SAT score. Do I have to wait until I get my Oct scores to send my sat transcript? Is there a process time where I need to send scores via collegeboard well before the Nov 1st deadline? Please please help me, I'm running out of time.

Also what do I need to do for school forms and transcripts!? I will talk to my counselor, but is there a process time or anything?

If you’re thinking of using Score Choice, it seems like you have to wait and see what your new scores are. Have you checked the school websites, they usually tell you which is the last sitting you can send?

If you’re using the CA, you need to ‘invite’ your HS GC so that they can fill out the Secondary School Report electronically. HSs vary with how they deal with transcripts, so ask your GC. The process time for the SSR is with your HS, so you need to find out if your HS GC can download it into the CA in time for your early deadlines.

thanks! I added the counselor to the common app school forms page. I have another question about Score choice… do you have to do a separate scores sent for subject test and sat or is it all the scores you have SAT/SAT II’s and then you withhold certain scores?

A SAT Score Report includes SAT and Subject tests for all sittings. When you use Score Choice, you can choose any combination of those scores.
