If you take AP exams during more than one year of high school, and during your senior year AP exams, put the code for the school you will be attending in order for your scores to be sent to them (in order to get credit or placement), will your scores from prior years be automatically sent along as well?

No, they won’t be, only the scores for the tests you took that year would be sent. But a lot of students are now self-reporting their AP scores on applications, so that isn’t too large a deal.

I assume colleges don’t accept self-reported scores for credit/placement though, do they?

Thats strange, I had a question like this earlier.

I emailed CB:
I called one or two weeks ago to send my AP scores to a college, but I only
had my 2010 AP number available so I used that. I also took exams in 2011.
Will those scores also be sent or do I have to pay an additional fee?

Answer:
Thank you for contacting AP Services.

AP Score Reports are cumulative and include scores for all of the AP Exams you have ever taken, unless you have requested that one or more of your scores be canceled or withheld.

yea i thought all the years were sent at once. I am going to be a senior next year and I was planning to just fill in my college and not have to pay $15 for the score report. So EMKaitlyn, you’re saying everyone needs to pay for the score report to get credit? Idk, I think Jetson’s scenario is more likely

Yes, they will. The college will receive a report with all scores (i.e. the report that you receive in July).

Thanks Jetson, that sounds authoritative thanks to the others who confirmed this also.
