Sending Supplement After Common App?

Because my school has this deadline about giving them materials so they can send it out to schools (along with transcripts, recs, etc) I gave in my completed Brown Common Application. HOWEVER, I’m STILL working on their supplement. I just noticed that they prefer that you send them the supplement first prior to the common app. If I finish the supplement and send it by mail by Tuesday or Wednesday, will that be okay? I’m worried that my common app will get there and the supplement would still be in the mail and they would just throw it out or not consider me. Thanks.

I’m guessing that when it’s a paper application, it won’t make as big a difference. I think it’s most important when it’s electronic. That said, it’ll help to have the supplement sent asap. Send it out tomorrow if you can.

Don’t worry, deadlines for mail-in applications are postmark, which means if you send it in by the end of December, you’ll be fine. The school is obliged to look over your application in full if you follow deadline instructions.
