<p>I am pretty sure that colleges file anything you send and keep it all together until you submit everything.</p>
<p>You can definitely send in your SAT or ACT scores any time, no problem. All colleges are used to this, and college board sends the scores electronically. The colleges have them stored in a way that they can match scores with aps when the aps come in.</p>
<p>Sending your transcript in early should work, too. It is just not quite as automated as the SAT score matching. </p>
<p>The way they are handling housing this year, I would get everything in as soon as possible if I wanted to live in an on-campus dorm next year.</p>
<p>I spoke w/someone in UT Admissions during the summer and they said it was ok to send the transcript before the application.</p>
