Sending Transcript to UCLA!~~~~~~~~~!!!!!!!

They will go with what you have. It won’t be that hard to add on one quarter’s worth of units.

if i really could not make it to the orientation, does it mean that i may not be able to enroll in classes as early as those who are going to attend?
whats the worst thing that could happen if i miss the orientation, does anyone know please?

Not being able to enroll is pretty terrible. Refer to: [UCLA Orientation Program](http://www.orientation.ucla.edu/enrollment.htm) and [UCLA Summer Orientation Program](http://www.orientation.ucla.edu/trsessionschedule.htm)

In particular “If you do not, or cannot, attend an Orientation session, you must contact the Orientation office at (310) 206-6685 to obtain important information about all the things that you will need to do on your own, including how to enroll.”

yeah I read about that, I just am not sure right now if I will be able to get days off from work and fly all the way to LA for that orientation :S

Instead of giving your AP number you can give your social security number.

I just want to verify that I have nothing to worry about.

As long as I SIR and send out my transcripts by May 31st, I should be fine on deadlines, right?

Uhm…in terms of “send out” it has to be RECEIVED, not sent out by June 1st. There are a bit more things you have to do if you’ve already SIRed. But if you mean keeping your options open, then yes, you’re fine.

it doesn’t have to be received, it has to be postmarked by that date. Transcripts can take weeks to process.

oops nvm. it says received on the website… i wonder if they’re lenient about it though

[Sending Official Records - Transfer Students - UCLA Undergraduate Admissions](http://www.admissions.ucla.edu/NewBruins/Offl_Rec_Transfer.htm)

Unless “Must be received by” means…postmarked.

In the case that it has to be “in” by June 1st…what do I do? Should I order my transcripts now to send to UCB and UCLA? Should I have them delivered to me, and then I’ll mail them to the universities? Or should I have them sent straight to the universities?

I haven’t SIR-ed, and this is why I’m so confused on what to do lol.

you can’t send them in yourself, they have to be sent by your cc. like i said, they take at least a week to process so you should get emergency delivery if your cc offers it. i suggest you send them in to both if you’re still undecided.

Thank you guys so much! I really appreciate it. I’m assuming that it’s okay that I send them in…even though I haven’t SIR-ed yet, right?

It’s a 50/50 split right now. :(

yup. it’s perfectly fine. good luck with your decision!

Thanks carol! You’re the best!

ahhhh i cant wait till summer…yeah man just overnight ur transcrips it shouldnt be a problem, they process it really quickly

lol thanks Eshug! Will do man. And Oh god…how I long for summer. I have loathed each and every one of my classes this semester. 1 more week until I’m done with community college!!!

Until my 1 summer school course though lol.

AP test scores only have to be to UCLA by July 15th (sooner if you have an earlier orientation date), right?

I really wish I had sent my transcripts a week ago just in case, because now I’m going to have to pay the massive rush fees if I decide to go. I have one from CC and another one from a semester at another uni :(
