So, do we wait until after this session is over to request the transcripts to be sent? Can we go right now and tell them to send it when this sessions grades are included? Or do we just tell them to send it and the new, reported grades don't matter?

Thanks in advance.

I believe that (for my case at least) UCLA wants you to send a transcript with your fall 2010 grades by JUNE 1ST. Then after the spring semester is over, they want you to send another transcript with your spring 2011 grades. Then submit your IGETC certification / AP scores if you took any by July 15.

I’m not sure if the other UCs have the same deadlines, but I assume they are similar in terms of sending transcripts/scores.

Also for my community college at least, they do have an option to send the official transcript automatically when the spring session grades are final, so you may be able to do it now and not have to worry about doing it later.

when we send in transcript from different colleges, can we just put all in a big envelop and send in or we have to send in individually?

^you can send them in a big envelope, the individual transcripts must still be in their original sealed envelopes though.

I’ll be going to Berkeley so transcripts aren’t due until 7/15. Would you suggest I just go in tomorrow and tell them that I need them mailed after the spring grades are in? Or should I ask for the official transcript and mail it myself (I have 2 separate community colleges if that matters - so far in as mailing it together goes, I mean)?

For ucla, do we need to have them sent directly from schools or we can send them altogether by ourselves?

you can have ur schools send them or you can send them yourselves.

I’m going to Berkeley too and I have three separate community colleges to request transcripts from. lol. I’m having the colleges send it all separately. One of the colleges does not let me request transcripts that include spring grades until finals week or after, though.

If I were you I would go to your CCs’ websites and look up their transcript request policies. Two of my CC’s let me request transcripts online :)
