Has anyone sent their final transcripts to UCLA

And got their status updated for it? Sent mine 2 weeks ago, and it still doesn't show that they received my final transcripts x;

no not yet. i should really do that today.

I sent mine in May and my status was updated like 2 weeks ago

yep, but i havent checked to see if it updated. It takes like 2-3 weeks for the UC certification to be processed somehow

Sent mine in like a week after getting the acceptance letter. I believe I didn’t have to send them in, considering I was so anxious I submitted copies back in January and UCLA seems to have accepted those.

Does anyone know if the ‘!’ changes to a ‘checkmark’ when UCLA receives only the transcripts from your very first semester to fall-2010 AND first semester to spring-2011 OR does this change when you have completed the summer-2011 classes as well? Or does it change to a checkmark after they receive your IGETC certification and your two transcripts as well? Sorry if my question is confusing but I was hoping that someone knows the answer to this, thanks in advance! :]

You get the ! after they receive your fall transcript, and the checkmark after they receive your spring transcript

We have to send in IGETC certification separately?

They don’t see from your official transcript that you’re IGETC has been met?

Yes, you have to send in your IGETC certification separately.

andrewcycs: Well, technically you can send your transcript and your IGETC together. I don’t know about your CC, but for mine you have to make an appointment with transfer counselors to get your IGETC certification. You can also send your transcript during that appointment.

But yeah, you need to send in certification for your IGETC completion. They won’t just look at your transcript for you.

I’m not sure exactly why…? Maybe it’s because some people meet IGETC differently (eg AP exams from high school, language courses in high school) and maybe it saves them time?

Oh mannn…

I definitely am IGETC certified and I had the appointments or what not, but I never knew we needed to send that in separately.

I am now very very far away from my campus, hopefully they can send it to me without being there.

Thank you guys!

andrew, if you already had your certification appointment then your CC admissions office should have taken care of it already (or will be soon)? for me, the process was like this: meet with transfer counselor @ CC. counselor approves. counselor gives me papers and sends me to the transcripts department at the admissions office. office staff takes my paperwork, checks that i filled everything out & tells me that it will be sent asap.

did you do anything similar?
