I applied to two EA schools.
Now I wanted to make an update to my application and I sent an email to one university.

But hurrying I just copied the email and sent it to the second university.
The problem is the email sent to the Second university contains the name of the first one.

How much will it effect my chances of admission now? Have I doomed my chances as the university now knows I am considering other schools too?

Please help , I am very depressed.

P.S The email I send it to is to the International Admission Counselor which is only 1 in the university. ( I am an International student)

You’ll look a bit silly, and they may laugh for a moment (if they have time) . . . but, in the grand scheme of things, it’s trivial. If you’re a competitive candidate for this school, it won’t matter. They’re realists - they know this is not the only college you’re applying to. And if you’re not a competitive candidate . . . well, then it doesn’t matter much anyway, does it?

You can send another email with the correct information. I’m sure it happens quite often.

You aren’t doomed, especially if you are already a competitive applicant; they will just giggle – and yes, it happens all the time. Since the email was to a specific person, I would be honest, send an apology email – it shows that you weren’t so dumb that you didn’t even catch your mistake.
