my grades have dropped significantly in 2 of my classes. who should i talk to about this? my tchrs said that they could write a letter as well explaining the drop, would this be helpful? would it be a mark against me if i dind't send them in?

also, these are 2 classes that i took solely for the purposes of appearing well-rded in that, it's ap calc bc and ap physics c...my intended major is french/gov, w/ maybe a minor in pol economy...and i've had gen. lower grades in the math/sciences all throughout my 4 yrs of high school...will it make a diff? is there a chance of academic probation b4 they revoke the acceptance?

Unless you failed a couple of classes I don't think you need to worry. Schools don't revoke an offer of admittance very often -- it happens, but it's rare. If you're really, really worried (or if you failed the classes) then having the teachers write letters stating reasonable (and obviously favorable toward you) reasons why your grades dropped is probably a good idea. Should probably get them to do it before they head off for the summer.

You could also call the admissions office and talk to them about it -- ask if you're in any danger etc.

Sorry that you're having to stress right now. You should be enjoying the last of your senior year, graduation and summer. Maybe contacting the admission office will give you some peace of mind.
