I just got my scores for final year report, and was astonished that I got 3Bs in statistics, french and US history, and they are all AP classes. I got an A in AP literature, and 2As in Chinese and writing class, and I will definitely pass other classes so I can earn those credits.
I know this is just a small possibility but I felt worried because I scored 2As in the mid year report for French and Statistics and a C for US history, will the school really care about this and revoke my offer?

It is unlikely that your admission would be revoked given the circumstances you outline in your post. While these grades might indicate a decline in your overall performance, I don’t believe they would be egregious enough to warrant a withdrawal of the school’s offer of admittance. You may wish to write a note to them outlining any extenuating circumstances that may have contributed to the lowering of your grades. But this is just a suggestion.

they expect grades to go, “senioritis”, it’s very common. i doubt smith will say anything

mengziyi-- Heck, the “C” in history midterm went to a “B”. This is great. “B”'s are part of life for most of us – I assume you did your best. Don’t sweat the “B”'s from “A”'s. Enjoy your self at Smith and do your best.

I don’t think they’ll even send you a warning letter. If they do anything (and also if they don’t)–please come back and tell us. It would be helpful to others with similar concerns.

ok guys, it turns out that I was being too nervous…Nothing happened to me and I really enjoy my life here at Smith.

Congrats! Its a great school to which you, and my D can attest!
