Senior Asking: Amount of College Classes taken in high School- Sophomore standing?

If I were to apply to any college, would they consider me a Sophomore, if I have 21 credits(from college classes) by the time I graduate?

Would I be considered an incoming Freshman from high school?

I took(and I'm going to take):

Fren 101, Fren 102, Fren 2A, Fren 2B, Econ 2

I also got these scores on the AP test:

AP Biology: 3

AP US History: 4

First, it would depend if they are transferable. If they aren't no, but if they are, I'm not sure -- does someone know?

if "any college" took 21 credits - no, you would not be a sophomore.

A typical "year" in terms of credits is 30. I will also be graduating with 21 credits, but we will be 9 credits away from hypothetical sophomore status.

Very few schools give credit for 3s on AP scores. And even fewer would give you credit for 101 french classes.

So, right now, I think you're looking at POSSIBLE credit hours for Econ and US History. So like 6. IF your school even awards credits for US History.

Vincanity1 is correct. Most colleges consider sophomore standing to be a minimum of 30 semester hours earned.

S took 20 credits to college with him and was considered a soph. after the first semester.

He isn't asking whether or not his credits will be accepted...read

No... whether or not you will be given sophomore standing remains to be seen. At this point, however, you apply as a freshman applicant. THEN you lobby with the school you choose to attend to try and get sophomore standing.
