senior course advice ? (physics 2 AP ?)

has anyone taken physics 2 AP and if so, how hard is it ? is it a large work load, and do you think it’d be prudent for me to take it next year?

right now this is my senior course load:
AP calc ab
AP english lit
AP chem
leadership
academic decathlon
research

but i also am considering physics 2 since i’ll be majoring in engineering in college. the physics 2 teacher is super easy; his physics 1 class was an easy A because he inflated our grades.
as for college apps, those won’t take up much of my time next year since i’m only applying to two or three schools.

i’m really going back and forth on this, so any advice you can give will help. thanks!

Easy is relative depending on the person and teacher, but if you felt like your AP Physics 1 class was easy then yes take AP Physics 2. There will a be a lot of labs, but the number of lab reports depends on the teacher.

How did you feel about the AP test?(Granted as an engineering major you only get credit for AP Physics C)

Felt that the AP test was challenging, but I definitely think I got at least a 4.

i think I’m going to talk to my counselor and see what she recommends.
