Would 3 AP classes (physics B, frence language, calc BC) be enough for a serious senior course load? I am wondering if I should do AP English Lit. (for a 4th weighted class I would have to petition to the school). I am also planning to self study for AP Psych and am goign to do JHU distance for AP Chem.

Yes, three or more AP classes is considered a serious senior course load.

eng lit ap, at least at our school, is one helluva tough class. I'm currently taking it now and i'm barely scraping a B righ tnow. If you ask me now whether i regret taking this class, i'll tell you yes. Ask me again in june, and i'll tell you i feel accomplished taking this class.

This might be just me, but I seem to want to try harder in harder classes and slack in easier classes. Hence I get A's in harder classes and B's in easier classes.

Thank god I got into UCLA! :)

3 is a serious course load? Ok why didn't someone tell me that when I signed up full IB...

6 IB classes senior year makes you C-R-A-Z-Y!

so does 5 APs+work+track

ummm don't stress too much for senior year. I was only planning on taking one, but thought for the better and settled for two. don't forget SENIORITIS either...you want to have some fun in your last year of high school. don't get wrapped up in senior year, it will be your last year with your classmates...
continue with your extracirriculars though, I think that was the key for me, rather than academics.
