Senior course selections-- AP

i'm in the process of making my course selections for next year. i am considering taking both AP Bio and Ap Chem, either one, or both. Does anyone have any suggestions? Is it manageable to take both in the same year? Any advice is appreciated.

To me both is manageable. Depends on your commitment. Cal BC, Lit, Phy., and Comp Science are also good aps for senior year.

I am taking...

ap lit
ap latin V (took ap latin IV this year)
ap gov & pol.

important to note: these are the only aps offered at my school senior year..except for ap math which there is no chance I am taking.

yeah, i am also definately taking ap calc. if i dont take both of these, i will be taking one plus calc, plus gov

AP Calc BC
AP Chem
AP Economics
AP English Lit
:)

AP Calc BC
Ap Macro
AP Gov't
AP English Lit
AP Euro

AP Literature
AP World History
AP US History
AP Chemistry

AP Chem
AP Phys
AP Lit
AP Calc
AP Gov (maybe)

AP Art History
AP Stat
AP English
AP US Hstory

mcali- If you're interested in the sciences, it'll definitely not be a problem. Bio is a lot of memory work, while chem is more conceptual and mathmatical (know a few basic formulas). Hope this helps.

thanks alot, that does help. i think i am going to opt for both.

I'm doing English Lit AP, finishing the 2nd year of AP American, and Taking both AP Economics exams.

I want a suggestion from you guys--should I take Multivariable Calculus/Linear Algebra in school or AP Gov (both). Which one is better? Both interest me....I would take both, but I want an easy schedule next year! :)

AP Calc BC
AP English Lit
AP Comp Sci AB
AP Gov't

AP Calc AB
AP Stat
AP Bio
AP English Lit

newyorker- If better=easier, go with whichever subject you're stronger in. Or go with the one that pertains more to your intended major (if you have one). Personally, I say Multivariable Calc/Linear Algebra :) but that's just me.

AP English Lit
AP Spanish 4
AP Gov/Econ
AP Physics
AP Chem
Multivariable Calc

I'm taking two sciences, so its do-able. I don't know if I can stay motivated for these classes in second semester tho, hehe

I'm taking:

AP/Gifted English
AP Psychology
AP Economics
AP Biology
Jazz Ensemble or Advanced Symphony
Human Anatomy
Advanced Pre-Calculus (math is my weakpoint)

A lot of people in my school double up in sciences.. not me personally.. but I guess it's manageable.

im taking:
AP english
AP econ / AP gov
AP chem
AP calc (b/c?)
AP french
Humanities
and Colorguard!!

ap gov
ap stat
ap environmental

damn, i thought i was doing a pretty hard schedule, i dont know how some of you do it
