I'm currently a senior at UCLA Electrical Engineering program. I will graduate this spring with a GPA around 3.3/3.4. What is my chance of getting a consulting/product management job at big reputable company? I have experience working at a tech startup company. Thanks for the input.

simply from my experience, being top of your class is nice but not necessarily the most important when it comes to majors like engineers (i’m assuming youre not going to even higher education). so really, you need to show them how your UCLA engineering diploma/degree, even if you dont have a 4.0, means a great deal and how youve learned a lot. it’s more based on the connection with the interviewer/company than anything else.

I see thanks, anyone else have any other insights?

You can find lots of info on the web about how those types of companies recruit. For example, [How Elite Business Recruiting Really Works | Economics | The American Scene](<a href=“The American Scene”>The American Scene)
