Okay so I am a senior class officer and we have to get a gift from the senior class to the school. What kinds of things are you guys giving and what are some interesting/memorable gifts from the past?

a time capsule
a new score board or trophy case
a tree or other landscaping
something for a sports team or class department (football helmets or new bunsen burners)
My school doesn't do this but that is what I would suggest.

We have common rooms for each house (you know..like in harry potter) and last year's senior class (from our house) bought a set of sofas. for our commons. I don't know what other seniors in other houses bought but 2 of the houses got together and bought a score board for the gym.

are you at a boarding school?

nope i go to a public school

and you have houses...and common rooms??? my school really is a piece of crap

i agree with the new sofas ( and I go to boarding school). I don't know if it was a gift or not ... but all the underclassmen common rooms got new sofas. another popular gift at boarding schools are toasters ( the little mini buses with the schools name for transportation stuff).

o yeah I forgot one more thing - the last last year's seniors got our commons all these little things for our cafe - like toasters, sandwhich makers, milkshake maker, candyfloss machine and a mini fridge.

but notice that NoFX is from New Zealand. Don't they work like the UK and call our definition of a private school "public"? Just wondering

we replaced the billboard on the side of the road with an electronic one... other classes have gotten new score boards... new trophy cases the like...

No we have private schools also. But we call high schools - 'colleges'.. Maybe you got confused with that?

is that... "common" to give a gift and stuffs?? my school's senior has never done that -_-

oh well
