Senior grades: No D's and 3.0 or higher

I called the admissions office and the lady doesn’t say if it’s okay to get a D or not. She just tells me to check my application.ucsd.edu. But for some other students seems to have answers that for certain classes it’s okay. How do you find out and what number did you call?

what class are you wondering specifically about?

AP Computer science :(

Yeah... that's considered an a-g course.

so I can't get a D or my admission will be rescinded? :-/

ask them before hand so they have a heads up. are you THAT sure you'll get a D anyways?

I'm not, but I tried to ask before hand, the lady wouldn't really give me an answer, so I'm feeling really worried. Of course, I'll try to pull it up as hard as I can, but if I know my admission will be 100% jeopardized with the D, my incentive to work harder will be to the max, instead of something like, okay I need to get it up.

A high school senior can have their admittance rescinded by falling
below the required 3.0 gpa required for senior year as well as receiving
"D or F" grades within this senior year as well. Good luck.

Sincerely,

It doens't matter if it's a - g classes.

I'm *ed because of my *ing Jazz Band teacher.

damnit. I think I have to drop my CC calculus class then and take a withdraw for it. Otherwise I have no time to go afterschool or get some tutoring. I can't use the java program at home either. this really sucks
