Hello everyone! I’ve maintained a perfect GPA throughout my first three years of high school, but Senior year really took a toll on me. I might get 2 Bs this semester which will drop my high school GPA from a 4.0 to a 3.95. I’ve a solid SAT score and good SAT 2 scores. It’s not that I haven’t been trying my very best. This year with a theater production, college applications and three AP courses, I really took a downfall. Do you know how that could affect my admission to Columbia Univ?
Also, my counselor told me that colleges in general do not see your Senior grades until AFTER admissions. Thus, she said that as long as I don’t totally fail (ie get straight up all Bs), they don’t have a good reason to rescind my application. Does anyone know if this is true or not?
