So I've heard about the good and the bad about dorms and apartments, but I haven't heard a thing about what happens to the seniors.
Do senior stay on campus (if they want to), or if they have apartments junior year, do they keep those apartments?
If you're stuck in a dorm junior year, can you find an apartment for senior year?

Another thing is, I heard that the freshman dorms are a bit...far from everything. How far though exactly is far?

I'm visiting the campus in April, but I thought it wouldn't hurt to ask.

I don’t go there and just have the information I got from the tour, but freshman dorms are about 5 minutes walk from the main campus, so it really isn’t bad at all. Sophomores have dorms throughout campus and then juniors have the apartment style dorms. From what I understood, seniors either live off campus or can apply for school housing, but I think they just get the leftovers, probably in the junior housing though… I’m sure a current student could answer this better.

Most freshmen live on south, which is fairly new…its only about 5 mins to most classrooms, so its not too bad of a walk…the remaining 10% or so of the freshmen live on main in some of the older, smaller buildings, but its still not too bad…all sophomores for the most part live on main, and most juniors opt to live in the west apts, which are really nice, but some juniors live off campus…senior housing is not guaranteed except for certain groups of people ie athletes, presidential scholars, female engineers, nurses, to name a few…its not really hard to find a nice house/apt 10 mins or less from campus, although radnor has some pretty tough zoning laws regarding college students…altogether, most people enjoy living off campus, and i cant wait til next year when im off campus
