Senior Mid-Term Grades?

Hello!

For regular decision applicants, how much do mid-term grades count?
Our school is on a trimester system, and I have heard that our trimester two grades will be sent to the colleges we are applying to, but I am not doing so well as of now…
If colleges notice a drop in grade from last trimester’s, how much will that affect my chances?

It depends upon the college and how close you are to getting admitted.

Lower grades will give you a worse chance of admission than higher grades.

“How much”? I have no idea how to quantify that.
