senior midyear grades

I'm taking 6 AP's and might end up with A-'s on two or three of them. (One might drop to a B+ I really hope it doesn't...) I've only had A's before. I'm kind of stressed about this....does GPA not matter after a certain point, even at schools like Harvard? Do they make decisions after seeing the midyear report?

I'm Asian, so I'm assuming I have a higher bar to match...

Harvard isn’t going to toss out your application if you get one B+. Don’t worry about it. Deciding between applicants isn’t going to come down to “oh this kid got one B and this one didn’t lol sux2suck REJECTED”

Agree. You might get into Harvard, and you might not. But if you don’t, it won’t be because you had a B+ at midyear in an AP class.

But, assuming you’ve applied regular decision, yes, they will make admissions decisions after they review your mid-year report. This fact doesn’t alter anything that’s been said elsewhere in this thread.

What about A-'s? Is it true A- and A are basically the same at admissions?
