So basically my school has no money and has gotten rid of AP classes that don't have to do with math or science. This year I'm taking AP Euro, AP US, and AP Stats. After this the APs left are AP Bio, AP Chem, AP Physics, AP Lit, and AP Calc. The only one I actually care to take is AP Lit. However, I can instead take classes at the local community college and state university. If I went there I would be able to take high level classes that interest me (French Literature, Art History, Global Politics, etc.) My only concern is that colleges would look down on this. I'm not looking to go to HYPSM schools, but I do want to go to a reputable school. Does anyone know anything about this or have any experience, advice, etc? Please help meeee.

Go for dual enrollment, pick the subjects with your best interests and enroll at your local collge while your still in HS. I recommend for APs you take one in each subject. For example, Math - Calc English - Lit Science(s) - w/e your best at History - Euro or US Economics may be optional.

it’s not necessarily AP’s but rather did you take the most rigorous course offered?
colleges will know what your high school offers
