Senior schedules

I make mine officially tomorrow. I think I'm going....

AP Bio
AP Chem
AP Physics
Environmental Science
(I think you can tell which classes I like!)
AP English
AP US History
ADV PE 12
Computer Apps 1 OR Issues of Conscience

I ran out of math classes. My school only goes to AP Calc AB and Stats and I took both of those this year, so no math might be nice although chem and physics have some math. I also may decide to be science crazy and take animal science and ag science in place of computers and apush, that'd be crazy, 6 sciences. Too bad I need to take english and pe as grad requirements.

What about you guys?

You guys have 8 classes? That's insane...we do 6...

Well it's blocked, so only 4 classes a day, so it's pretty sane, the workload and all that is.

Does ADV PE 12= Advanced PE 12? Ad if so, what makes it "advanced"?

We haven't scheduled yet, but ideally...

Semester 1
Princeton University Biology (some bio class)
Princeton University Chemistry (some chem class)
Honors Multivariable Calculus
AP Lit
AP Computer Science B
AP French

Semester 2
Princeton University Biology (some bio class)
Princeton University Mathematics (either linear algebra or number theory)
AP Lit
AP Computer Science B
AP French
Independent Study

My high school is part of a program hosted by Princeton University through which we can take classes with undergards there if we qualify.

yes, advanced pe 12. it goes pe 9, pe 10, adv. pe 11, adv. pe 12 even though jrs and srs have pe together. they just call it advanced because in 9 and 10 we already learned the "sports" skills and the "exercise" and "stretching" stuff so it is more just doing stuff and playing, ya know. it's basically just there to make it sound harder..i love how my school does stuff like that.

This is what I'm hoping for, but the odds of getting it are quite small considering i'm not even sure we'll have AP euro next year...block scheduling...

Semester One
Dual Enrollment - Physics with Calculus I
AP European History
Anatomy and Physiology Honors
Dual Enrollment - Calculus III

Semester Two
Dual Enrollment - Physics with Calculus II
AP European History
Economics / American government (9 weeks each)
Dual Enrollment - English Composition I

Yeah. I don't like being at school.

IB Further Math
IB History
AP/IB Biology
TOK (required for IB)
IB English
AP/IB Spanish
AP Psychology

theoneo, you have no idea how jealous I am of you. I'd LOVE to take classes at Princeton (=dream school).

My schedule:

TOK
AP Calc BC
Spanish 5th year (higher than AP, isn't it? I don't know.)
IB Bio HL
IB History of the Americas HL
IB World Lit HL
IB Music SL
Psychology (if I can cram that in somehow)

Haha. I know, right!

The only problem is that it's incredibly hard to get the right classes in my school cause so many of them are only offered in one period (for me, comp sci, french, mvc (and calc bc if I can't do mvc) are only offered once. Plus, Princeton courses take up the entire morning or entire afternoon because they're offered at the same time each week whereas our school's classes rotate every day.

Wow, good luck juggling APUSH with AP Bio/Chem/Physics. APUSH is the hardest AP IMO.

yeah we have 4 periods per day too, but at my school most grads only take 6 courses so we can focus on those courses for university, and since only our 6 best marks count when calculating admissions averages. as a result i have a sick schedule-4th period lunch, 5th period spare so i finish at 12:25 every day! i'm going to miss that after june-i'll never have such a sweet schedule again lol.

I get to decide in a month or so. Tentatively:

AP English
AP Calculus AB
AP Economics
AP European History
AP Government (if they offer it, not offered yet but there were rumors that they were going to add it)
Newspaper/Journalism

So if no gov't, it's 6 periods. With gov't its 5. APUSH is DEFINITELY the easiest AP ever.

AP English Lit.
AP Spanish Language
AP US Gov't
Biology II Honors
Precalculus
PE
General Anthropology
Dramatic Arts

Next year's schedule will be:

AP Physics B
AP English Literature
AP European History
AP Calculus AB
Band VI
AP French Language
AP U.S. Government (Online)
AP Macroeconomics (Online)
AP Computer Science A (Online)

AP English Literature

Public Speaking
Guitar

Differential Equations
