Senior year activities and leadership positions

There are a few clubs that have not started this school year. However, I have participated in them in the past and plan on continuing once they start. In that case, should I check off the 12th grade box in the activities section? Also, in some clubs, I have informally been told that I would have certain leadership positions. Is it fair to write them down? I do not want to have to explain the situation due to the word limit (FYI - I am using the additional info section for something else) but also want to be fair and honest.

“Told you would have leadership positions.” Ask your club advisor if it is definite enough for you to put them down on your application. If yes, do so. If no, send the college an update later to announce your new position.
