Senior year C+

I've gotten straight A's throughout all of high school, except for one class. I got a C+ in my AP environmental science class this year, and it was just sent to colleges as part of my mid-year report. I'm not considering a major in science. I'm applying to a range of schools, the most competitive of which are Harvard, Yale, Columbia, and Brown, and Vassar and Wesleyan for LACs, and then McGill. (+ a few safeties)

How much will this C+ hurt me? I got A's in my other senior year classes, so it isn't like I have major senioritis. It was just a really hard class, and I, as a non-science person, decided to challenge myself--but will colleges see it that way?

Trust me, its no big deal... sure it'll bring your GPA down but as long as all your other grades are straight A's then its okay... your only human my friend... good luck.

Valedictorians get turned down at Harvard constantly. Good luckies

^^^^ yah because every high school has a valedictorian, harvard can't take 1 kid from all the 20,000 high schools, if you are a valedictorian with high standarized tests scores + average ecs, your chances of getting into an ivy is really good....
