Senior Year Classes

Pre-College Issues High School Life

So I want to take only 7 classes next year. I either will double up on math (AP Calc BC and Ap Stats) & not take a science or take a science but not take ap stats and i’d be in: AP Calc BC and Anatomy Honors.

I preferably would rather not take a science and take AP Stats and Calc BC but would that look bad if I wanted to go into STEM. Probably something math related instead of science.

My classes right now are:
AP US History
AP English Language
Pre-Calculus Honors
Spanish III Honors
Piano III
Percussion Ensemble
Philosophy of Religions
Physics

If I did do a science next year instead of AP Stats or Anatomy, which science?

Have you had all three of biology, chemistry, and physics?

Do any of the colleges you may want to apply to require or recommend a fourth year of science beyond the three listed above?

I have taken Bio Chem and Physics & it depends on your major

I would not say that it looks “bad” but I do think it would look stronger for a STEM applicant, but part of it also depends upon your target colleges. Additionally, I’m assuming all of your target colleges do not request 4 years of a foreign language.

It’s really up to you, unless you are targeting HYPSM, in which case it should be an advanced/honors/AP class.
