senior year courses

How much will senior year courses affect admissions to colleges? If you're already at a match for a college, but you take... say Teacher's Aide instead of Physiology, will they reject you? Does one non A-G or College prep affect you that badly?

So, I'm just wondering if things like these will matter a LOT or will they be minute things.

Since it probably varies for different colleges, I'm talking about mid-tier UC's like UC Irvine and Santa Barbara, and safety colleges like UC Riverside. I'm lazy. I'm already taking 5 classes, but I still have one AP class.

What counts most is junior year. Senior, not so much, just don't completely slack off. If you were taking 5 AP's junior year, and senior you're taking no math and no science and intro photo and home ec, that would look bad.

bump

anymore opinions?

Colleges, especially the more selective ones, don't like to see a slacking off in the intensity of your classes during your senior year, unless you have already exhausted your HS's offerings of College prep courses.
