Senior year GPA

Ok, I understand that I need to earn a 3.0 and have no Ds or Fs to keep any admission status. But is that 3.0 weighted or unweighted? Do I need a 3.0 per semester or do I just need to retain a 3.0 including a-g classes I took the last two years (UC GPA)
If the gpa is unweighted sr. year only, I might, in the worst case, drop below 3.0 Of course I can work harder & improve, but I still want to know.

Last Q: retaining a “3.0” and no Ds/Fs guarantees your status after acceptance, even for the more prestigious schools, right?
thanks

As of yet the UC Davis campus has not adopted a 3.0 gpa in the senior year for freshman applicants. We frown upon D and F grades and would require that you notify us immediately of these grades. If you are accepted and decide to attend our campus pay close attention to your conditions of admissions, this are the conditions you must meet to keep your admissions, while you submit your intent to register. Some other campuses may have a 3.0 policy in place.
