Senior Year GPA

In the conditions of admission it doesn’t say a required GPA but it does say it should be equal to the GPA when you were admitted or something like that. I was wondering does Davis weight GPA for senior year when they look at it? Anyone know about the 3.0 rule…is that also in Davis, for Irvine its like a weighted 3.0. What if I already did over 8 semester of weighted courses before Senior year…would they weight senior year as well? Just wondering what they want.

weighted gpa 3.0 is fine :]

In their catalog for transfers… it says 2.9 GPA. Keep in mind that most transfers who are accepted have a GPA of 3.1 to 3.4, so keep that in mind. But it appears they want you to achieve close to or high than the GPA they qualified your for… but I’m reading into that. I have not read a definitive answer on that.

I got accepted to Davis last year and during second semester senior year i got straight C’s. I called the Davis admissions office a lot and they told me that I was fine as long as I had no D’s

^haha when I called them they said I was allowed one D as long as my other grades were satisfactory but no specifics.
