do schools recalculate your gpa according to your senior year grades? if so, do they only use first semester grades or both first & second? b/c i did VERY poorly (aka close to failing) in one of my classes first semester b/c i dropped from AP Calc to regular and my grade carried over and there was close to no time to bring it up. but i did a lot better this marking period and have brought it up to a decent level.. will schools put more weight on my second mp grade considering its more recent and better reflects what i can do? or will they not really care b/c they can still see my horrendous first semester grade? thanksss in advance

I think they'll count first and second marking periods together as a whole - like your semester average.

ok sorry i'm digging this back up from the grave b/c i still don't know.. so do colleges recalculate your GPA with senior grades? cause mine SUCKKKK :(

they make a decision and we have to make a decision even before second semester is up for us... they will recal 1st semester of senior year.. not second.. u just send in final transcripts so that colleges can revoke u if u are slacking off...lol
