How much to senior year grades count in the admissions process? My cumulative GPA (Fresh-Jun) is a 3.846W, with a downward trend( 3.75w junior year). Somehow, with 3 APs and 3 Honors, I have a 4.25W this year, which is significantly better than last year haha. Can this actually help my application? ( I also have a 31 ACT and play Varsity Golf)
I'm applying to:
Boston College RD
Villanova RD
BU RD
Fordham EA
UConn EA
Delaware EA
Penn State EA

It varies by college. UF, for example, claims that senior year grades are unimportant and that what is important is the rigor of the senior schedule. Although in any case, anything lower than a C could be grounds for rescinding your acceptance.

And to answer your question, Hunter College in Manhattan told me not to even bother sending in my senior grades and that if I dropped pre-calc it would not effect my admission at all. YAY ME!
