How important are they? With the most difficult course load in senior year, will Georgetown overlook a slight decline? I had a 4.0 for the past 3 years but I'll probably have a few B's at the end of this semester...I have a senioritis :(

Yea, I am wondering the same thing..But I'm accepted so it may not matter, but I'm going to get a C in Calculus.

I don't think it would look so great if your grades dropped significantly. I bet one B is fine, but I'd try and get them up as high as possible.

Most likely, they will not rescind your admit status with a few B's or C's. The general rule is however (for the final transcript), no D's or F's.

Nonetheless, it is best to keep up your grades and try to avoid the senioritis.

haha i have the same senioritisness goin on...my motto is that at absolute all-time low if i dont drop below like a 3.0 im good...but ima try to keep at least a 3.5 (these are both unweighted), which shouldnt be TOO hard...

we can do it! we must fight the beast of senioritis!

i think most schools are okay as long as you keep above a 3.0 or 3.5 (depends on the school). so don't worry! =)

Even if I got all Bs, my weighted GPA would still be a 3.6- cool. I can slack and still get an acceptable GPA. However, I'm pretty much guranteed an A in two classes, so I'll probably get a 4.0 at the lowest. :D Not to brag or anything...

yes, not to brag...

lol :p

Calidan! You need to be posting quicker and more. Why is my name all over the Gtown board when this is YOUR home?

I know! I got sucked into reading something on the Parents forum. I'll stay around here from now on, though. ;)

Maybe he has a slower modem?

lol I'm really hating the 60 second rule...

Sometimes I wonder if I'm annoying since I post so much.
Once I read something where people were bashing me and saying my posts had no purpose and that I have no life. Please tell me this isn't true :(

It's not true at all! I love talking with you. And most of your posts (I won't say all, because, well, no one's are all helpful) are well-informed/helpful. And you obviously have a life, this is just a hobby (or obsession, I can't tell which in my case :p).

And the 60 second rule totally sucks.

And I post slowly because I like making my grammar all nice (usually), and I like proper capitalization/spelling (and if it's not right, I usually go back and edit).

lol wow i post horribly w/ grammar and stuff, probably cuz my space bar is broken so it reacts slowly or sometimes not at all, then i dont check cuz well i jsut dont and i invert my letters my posting is a messs
i feeel the same way, people must think i dont have a life, my average is like 30 posts per day...

227...
3314...

yeaa I think you have a HUGE life compared to me.

My grammar is usually alright I think? I make some typos and but you sound very anal about it calidan! lol

i just started posting on hwere like right b4 or right afte rchristmas and i have 228, that is a lot, im sure if i had been on as long as u have it would be much higher...as it seems i have an addiction lol

Oh I have an addiction too. Some days I posted 100+ in a day!

wow, yea i jsut spend all my time reading posts and clicking around to see if people ahve posted anything neww

OMG 100? My max was like 60 or so....

And yes, I'm a stickler for spelling and grammar. But I'm not anal! Ok, maybe a little bit. I'm trying to break that habit so I can post more, though. LOL ;)

I dare you to write a post with at least five grammar/spelling mistakes. Or not edit until you get to 1000. Mm how about both?! hahah DOOO IT

lol that would be funny i dont have the idont kno...patience (iguess would be the word) to check over what i type, plus if a person reallywants to know what i am saying they have to be smart enough to figure it out themselves even w/ all the typos and random spaces, lol
