if there is a class i want to take senior year but isnt honors or AP, is it worth taking?

of course, if you want to take and you don't have drop any honors/APs.

yeah, of course. you won't get another chance. and you'll look forward going to it. :-)

OF COURSE, even if you do have to drop an honors/AP (sorry flutterby, but I really think you should take what you want to take!)

Although I was considering not taking any science next year, since I'll already have 5 credit years by the end of this year (my junior year) ... but then I decided MIT looks really cool and I like science so maybe I won't take choir. Or I'll skip lunch...

take whatever you personally want to take no matter what the level...at first, when i picked my senior schedule, i freaked out about having 2 art classes that aren't ap or g/t or honors, but i love them both, and definitely plan on having lots of fun senior year too, its not just about grades and colleges

thanks a lot for your help everyone. i feel much less uneasy about taking that class now.

Go for it. You're supposed to have fun your senior year...it's what you've worked for. ;) I'm taking Senior Home Economics and Graphic Design II 2nd semester (both fun, but complete blowoffs)...and couldn't be happier about it. :D

You should definitely take it. Take the classes you are interested in and enjoy, not just one the ones you think the colleges would want you to take. That wrecks the purpose and makes it no fun.

TAKE IT, it shows passions.

I never liked science so this year I decided not to take a science class. Instead, I'm taking 2 additional history classes- no regrets.

same as descant! woot!
