I'm currently a junior in high school and I'm deciding what classes to take my senior year of high school. I am really confused! I am planning to take required eng class, pre-calc, spanish 4, ap bio, ap chem, and applied bio and chem but in my second semester, i have an option of doing early release and I want to take it so I can concentrate more and do well in ap bio and chem but in my second semester I will only have 4 classes and I will get to go home early. Now i am hearing from a lot of people that colleges don't like early release on applications. What should I do? Should I take all 7 classes second semester too or is it okay if I do early release the second semester? Please help!

Just do the regular. Take all seven classes. Unless you plan to do research at a lab or study at a university after school (I’m serious, haha), I wouldn’t do the “early release” option. Kids at my school take both AP chem and AP bio at the same time, and they have a lot of extracurricular activities after school as well.
Basically what I’m saying is, just do the regular.
I’m a senior, btw
